I’m constantly on the lookout for great sound effects and music that I can add to my videos without the YouTube Police having (unsound-sound-) grounds to (dispute, refute ‘n’) [MUTE] (and thus more hobble than merely humble the then now newly numbly unhumable) them (if not “Them“).
The said video-sharing site recently added a facility that lets you add tunes to COMPLETED films but, as yet, you can’t download tracks in advance (& yer tacky trackies) in order to deliberately create visuals tailored to fit a specific tune.
I, along with countless, countless others, no doubt*, was contacted this week by a Death-Metal-Thrash-Cut-Your-Girlfriend-Up-&-Flush-Her-Down-The-Toilet-Because-I-Am-Well-’ard-&-Have-Stolen-Her-Straighteners-Hair-Band (*er…so clearly NOT “No Doubt“) to create animations promoting their songs – a fun proposition, perhaps…
…but I am fonder of free rein (not dear but **FREE** STUFF) and therefore JUMPED on a Tweet from “Partners in Rhyme” offering $50’s worth of auracular wonderment in exchange for a Blog-Standard Link.
I’m extremely eager to hear what they have in this Sample Set. Being aware of the high quality of the Gregorian Chants they don’t charge for, I’m hoping for some classical music or a carol I could make a Christmas Card Greeting from. I expect this is too great an ask and the Music Loops will be just that – Loops …of up to 30 seconds’ duration.
