~ PARTNERS IN RHYME ~
I’m constantly on the lookout for great sound effects and music that I can add to my videos without the YouTube Police having (unsound-sound-) grounds to (dispute, refute ‘n’) [MUTE] (and thus more hobble than merely humble the then now newly numbly unhumable) them (if not “Them“).
The said video-sharing site recently added [...]

Something odd is going on with my Syntrillium Cool Edit 2.1. I’m not sure what triggered it off so I don’t know how to resolve it. I’ll paste a screenshot below to illustrate the strangeness :
The start of the waveform is a recording of silence but you can see there’s some “noise” on the lower [...]

Hmmm…. so I’m a COMPLETE audio-editing spod/Audiobook evangelist……thus I’m looking at the “Audio” jobs at GetAFreelancer.com. Someone is offering on-going Lecture-transcription work.
They will pay the *successful candidate* ten U.S. dollars per completed hour of material and are very open about the fact that that output is likely to take a “beginner” FIVE hours to assemble [...]

I picked up a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T61 a fortnight ago, with a view to capturing a fairly robust ‘net-box capable of lifting the ceaseless strain [At LAST, Atlas !] from the ravaged, savaged, older shoulders of my utterly ADORED (but terribly tired and now marginally doddery) five-and-a-half-year-old Toshiba Satellite.
Key selling points of the new arrival (who’s not a [...]

I may have just sussed the cause of a quirk with YouTube’s encoding of wmv files.
Yesterday, I posted some clips from the episodic sixth chapter of the audiobook I’m assembling and discovered that the 5 second linking ”To be continued…” tailpieces are not being displayed.
I tried extending the duration of these in the sources to 8 seconds but [...]

Due to a DIFFICULT DAY, I’m writing this tomorrow having readied a Post in advance of the Past.

Proper tuneless opportunities to make a joyful (jaw-full), baleful (bawl-fool), sequestered racket unto NONE TWO are becoming increase sin-ly in-freak-went and so I (sees Mes) SEIZE (!) these FREEs ; must <<blast fast ‘n’ not go slow>>.
The struggle ensued, after the fact, [...]

It came to my weary bleary-eyed attention at twenty three minutes past two in the wee smalls of Saturday last (March 8th) that a certain triangular snack food (the one that ISN’T a Toblerone, Dairylea or a Pyramid Bag) is running an ad’-making competition that is (THRILLS !) ……:
<<<actually open to British participants.>>>
