I believe CSS is supposed to eliminate the needless MESS of HTML ((nested) tables). I have been trying to line up letters precisely (even using whited-out dashes) but I am finding that my [output] doesn’t match my [input].
Perhaps I need an alternative Template that offers “Fixed Width”.
I wonder if [Paste from WORD] would carry over [...]

I’m thinking of pressing a word to my ISP with a view to my accessing some cgi so that I can run the “proper” version of WordPress and be able to back up my blatherings.
If anyone could and WOULD comment on the advantages of either WordPress.com over WordPress.org or t’other way ’round….purleeeeeeze do so.
