The best thing about my Desktop computer is its 5.1 surround sound system. It gives such an enhancement to my enjoyment of music, films and games – plus the Line-In and Mic sockets are  high quality with no nasty buzz or machine interference evident on recordings made via their wholly holy holes
The PC has been [...]

I was surprised in the summer, upon my purchase of a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 laptop computer, to learn that the ability to record “Stereo Mix” (any noise(s) you hear playing live on your computer) had been removed. This is a feature that has been standard for years and was supposed to be available to all [...]

…is this Qosmio X300-13W
at £2,250.
Think it’d make the “flagships” look awful purty in the forthcoming “Empire : TOTAL WAR” – might <SOUND> good too which is crucial to the enjoyment of that entertainment.

Until now, I have been able to enjoy the battle series on my elderly Desktop with its sumptious Creative Audiocard and boomy 5.1 [...]

From Control Panel, install the application to your desired location.
It ONLY puts the CORE program on – so all the pens and textures are missing.

Key selling points of the new arrival (who’s not a [...]

Periodically, I visit the Dell configurator to do the “Create Your Own” (Pizza) bit on customising a dream machine. Today I was prompted by a headline in the PC Advisor e.mail newsletter resolving at:
http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/businessadvisor/news/index.cfm?newsid=12850&ba
NOT to get a quote for the highest possible spec’ but just to make something similar to the VERY DEL(l)iberat(ing)ely Windows Vista-dodging [...]

Gosh ! This Project really is FIGHTING me every step of the way, to the point where I haven’t had the opportunity to log the slog here.
I shall have to fill in some of the gaps (I’ve been gathering screenshots) later….or perhaps make a film at the end (Will there BE one ?) showing everything that DIDN’T [...]

…indoors, (but not in “The Doors”) in an un-understandably under-sizedly undesirable, decidedly Granny Cardiganny anorak, a sixties Cambridge alumni semi-softened Scouse accent and an underling undergraduates’ underground bunker so window and “WINDOWS“-free (point one to Uni Unix) that a bluff bumfluff-bearded “yoof” (not) in (dread of) rope-honed, taupe-toned poorly pull’y woolly threads was to enjoy (?) employ as “Technoboy“, ~ envied [...]
